GEORGE BRUNNHOELZL III BRINGS HOME TOP-15 AT GREENVILLE
Next Up For George: Return to Caraway
George Brunnhoelzl, III can’t seem to shake the bad luck that has followed him in the 2007 season. The bad luck reared it’s head again as the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour headed to Greenville-Pickens Speedway (SC) for their third event of the season.
Brunnhoelzl started the weekend off strong. His car was good in practice and he qualified in the top-fifteen, but once the race was underway things changed for the No. 2 team.
“I don’t really know what happened with the car,” said Brunnhoelzl. “We will have to go back and check it out. There is just something wrong with the car, we just can’t get it to cooperate and we had to settle for finishing 12th, when we should have been up front.”
He will get his chance to beat that bad luck this coming weekend when the WSMT returns to Caraway Speedway (NC).
“We will just have to go back to the shop, go through it and see if we can figure it out before the next race. Then we will go to Caraway and see how we do, and then figure out what we will do for the rest of the season after that.”
