Brunnhoelzl Nabs Another Runner-Up Finish at Caraway
With Two Races Left, GBIII is Another Step Closer to Title

George Brunnhoelzl III continues to be in the catbird's seat for the 2011 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Championship with just two races to go after finishing second to teammate Andy Seuss at Caraway (NC) on October 1st.
"I was trying to conserve somewhat, run just as hard as we needed to for the car to come around," said Brunnhoelzl of his race strategy as he rode behind Seuss in second.  "We were just off a little bit.  But, it was a great night finishing second.  Ideal Racing one-two is pretty good."

While Seuss was able to bite into Brunnhoelzl's lead a bit at Caraway, GBIII still has a 130-point advantage heading into the final two events of the 2011 NWSMT season.

"Points are what they are.  We’ll just go out trying to win the last two races and let the points fall as they do. "

Brunnhoelzl will look to take one step closer to his second Whelen Southern Modified Tour Championship on Thursday, October 13th at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.
